Blue Square Premier side Luton Town will face a Peterborough XI on Saturday in a friendly after planned opponents Leyton Orient pulled out.
The O's withdrew last week after arranging a potentially lucrative home friendly against Newcastle.
The Hatters feared they would be left with a blank weekend.
Luton had expressed their anger at the time after Orient decided to play the Magpies, whose planned trip to Holland had been cancelled.
Peterborough's first team are hosting Fulham on Saturday.
