Midfielder Stefan Oakes has had his contract with Lincoln City cancelled by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old last played for the Imps in a League Two game against Accrington Stanley in February.
Oakes was signed by former manager Peter Jackson in the summer of 2008 after turning down a contract extension with Wycombe Wanderers.
He has scored just one goal for Lincoln in the 47 league and cup matches he played for the club.
