Fleetwood Town have appointed Stockport youth team coach Craig Madden as their new assistant manager.
The 51-year-old former Bury, West Brom and Blackpool striker had been a coach at Stockport for 13 years.
The former Hatters caretaker boss said: "I spoke with Micky [Mellon, boss] and he wanted me to be his assistant and work on the coaching front.
"It's obviously a great opportunity to be part of the club and playing in the Conference."
