Blue Square Bet Premier side Darlington have signed Leicester City midfielder Aman Verma on loan until January.
The 22-year-old has trained with Mark Cooper's side ahead of the trip to Wrexham and hopes to feature provided clearance is received in time.
Verma has made just one appearance for the Foxes, and has enjoyed loan spells with Crewe, Histon and Kidderminster.
He becomes the Quakers' second new signing this week after former Northern Ireland winger Keith Gillespie.
Verma, who signed a deal at Leicester in May 2009, will wear the number 29 shirt during his stint at Darlington.
