Burton Albion have signed former MK Dons striker Serge Makofo on a short-term contract.
Makofo, 23, scored a hat-trick for the Brewers' reserves in a 6-0 win over Macclesfield's second string.
Burton manager Paul Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby: "Serge has electric pace and we are keen to take a longer look at him."
Makofo was a trainee with MK Dons before moving on to Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic in July.
