Blue Square Premier side Altrincham have signed midfielder Matty Crowell from Northwich Victoria.
The 25-year-old was Northwich's player of the season last term and has previously played at Wrexham, Southampton and Swansea.
Crowell is also a former Wales Under-21 international and scored one goal for his country against Azerbaijan in 2004.
"It was hard at Northwich last season with the club's difficulties but I am pleased to join Altrincham," he said.
