Gateshead face Southport on Wednesday for the first leg of their Blue Square North play-off semi-final.
The Tynesiders should restore striker Lee Novak and defenders Phil Gate and Carl Jones after they were rested in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Hucknall.
Form favours the visitors, as Gateshead registered a 3-2 win over Southport in March, and the Sandgrounders have also lost their last two matches.
The second leg, at Gateshead, takes place on Sunday.
