First Tower United are one point closer to the second promotion place in Jersey's Championship after a 1-1 draw with Beeches Old Boys.
The two other teams in contention for promotion, Magpies and St Clement both lost their matches.
St Clement crashed 3-1 at home to St Brelade while Magpies lost 3-0 to champions Portuguese Club.
First Tower are in second place on 30 points, with Magpies two points behind and St Clement on 27.
However St Clement have a game in hand on First Tower and two on Magpies, so the second promotion spot behind Portuguese Club is still a three-club race.
