Lancashire coach Peter Moores says he is optimistic that James Anderson will be released by England to play against Sussex next week. Moores told BBC Radio Manchester: "With Test matches coming up, I would think the England camp will want him to play the longer format game." The bowler would be a welcome addition as Glen Chapple has hamstring problems. Lancs face Glamorgan in the Friends Provident Trophy on Sunday before their County Championship opener on Tuesday.
