Davison's 17-137 were the best figures since Jim Laker

Captain John Davison claimed the best first-class bowling figures in 48 years as Canada completed a 104-run ICC Intercontinental Cup victory over USA.
Off-spinner Davison took 9-76 to bowl the home side, who were 87-2 overnight, out for 126 in Fort Lauderdale.
After a first innings 8-61, his match figures of 17-137 were the best since England's Jim Laker took 19-90 against Australia and the 17th best ever.
The tournament, made up of three-day matches, is for ICC associate members.

Davison, who plays professionally for South Australia, had already provided 84 in Canada's first innings 221.
After he dismissed overnight batsmen Mark Johnson (42) and Steve Messiah (37) American resistance collapsed.
The next Americas group matches see the US travel to Bermuda in July, and Canada host the same side in August.
The round-robin winner will advance to the Cup semi-finals in the UAE in November.
