Scrum-half Megan Davey has been called up to Wales' extended training squad for the upcoming WXV Global Series.

The 26-year-old is Loughborough Lightning's record appearance holder, running out 124 times since making her debut as a teenager.

Davey was part of the 2026 Six Nations extended squad and gives head coach Sean Lynn another option at fly-half, having played in both half-back positions.

Wales open their WXV campaign against South Africa at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday, 18 September (19:15 BST), with the final squad due to be announced in the coming weeks.
