St Helens have signed experienced NRL hooker Tom Starling on a three-year contract.
The 28-year-old will join Saints from Canberra Raiders, with whom he has spent the past eight seasons after joining them from Newcastle Knights in 2018.
Starling is the fourth close-season signing for Saints, who missed the Super League play-offs for the first time after finishing seventh in 2026, following the arrivals of Sean O'Sullivan, Christian Tuipulotu and Solomona Faataape.
Starling played under new Saints head coach Kevin Walters when he turned out for the Prime Minister's XIII against Papua New Guinea Prime Minister's XIII.
Starling said: "I've seen how intense he is with his training and so when he called and asked if I'd be interested in coming, he spoke about his plans for the club and what he wants to achieve. I was ready to go there and then."
Saints chief executive Abi Ekoku said: "Tom's desire to join the club has been infectious and his hunger for success stands out.
"Saints supporters will embrace his skill, leadership and fierce competitiveness."
