Northern Ireland's David Allingham won the British Superstock race at Cadwell Park to extend his lead at the top of the standings.

Allingham beat Luke Mossey to the line by 0.166 seconds and is now 42 points clear of the English rider.

Pole sitter Scott Swann finished in fourth place after he was passed for the final podium place by Billy McConnell.

It is an eight win of the season for Allingham, who is in control of the title race with three events remaining this season.

In the British Superbike Championship, England's Ryan Vickers won Monday's two races at Cadwell as Kyle Ryde extended his lead at the top of the standings to 71 points over Bradley Ray.

Northern Ireland's Glenn Irwin failed to finish the opening race on Monday and crossed the line in 14th place in the final race of the bank holiday weekend.

The next round of the season takes place at Assen from 18-20 September before the final two outings of the season at Donington Park and Brands Hatch.
