Burton Albion have signed midfielder Will Collar from League One rivals MK Dons on a season-long loan.

The 29-year-old is just the fifth summer signing made by the Brewers, whose head coach Gary Bowyer has publicly pleaded for the club's bosses to provide transfer "help" and "more bodies".

Collar made 26 appearances across all competition as the Dons were promoted from League One last season.

It added to his promotion-winning pedigree, having twice gone up with Stockport County during his time with the Hatters.

"He's a good character and his CV shows that he knows how to win," Bowyer told the club website., external
