Bangura-Williams joins Cambridge on loan

Ra'ees Bangura-Williams has joined Cambridge United on a season-long loan from Championship side Millwall.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder played for the Lions' academy sides before making 33 first team appearances.

Last season he played 18 times across all competitions with two goal contributions for Alex Neil's side.

"I am really pleased (to join)," Bangura-Williams said.

"I'd describe myself as an all-action midfielder - I love to attack and score, but I do the defensive work and I'll get back for the team too.

"I'm ready to get straight into the action – I can't wait to get started."
