Hull's deal for Frankfurt winger Bahoya falls through

Hull City's move for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya has fallen through after the player decided against makingt the switch.

The Premier League newcomers had agreed a deal with the Bundesliga side and the 21-year-old had been granted permission to have a medical in East Yorkshire.

France Under-21 international Bahoya, previously linked with several Premier League clubs, has produced seven goals and eight assists in 78 matches for Frankfurt since joining from French club Angers in 2024.

Primarily a left winger, he is capable of playing in multiple attacking positions and holds the Bundesliga speed record after being clocked at 23.09mph during a match against Bochum in 2025.

He would have become the Tigers' 13th signing of the summer.
