Exeter City have signed ex-Lincoln City and Wigan winger Anthony Scully on a deal until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old was a free agent after spending last season with Shrewsbury Town and has been training with the PFA camp all summer.

Scully was a key player for Lincoln, scoring 37 goals in 106 games, before leaving in 2022 and manager Matt Taylor is confident he can get back to his best.

"Anthony is a player we've come across before and I've got strong memories of his energy, his ability on the ball and his enthusiasm for attacking moments," Taylor said., external

"He's 27, has a strong pedigree and still has a lot to offer.

"He had other opportunities available to him, but he sees this as a good fit for himself, as much as we see it as a good fit for him. I'm delighted he's chosen to come here and hopefully we can help him reach his peak."
