Derby County have signed Danish forward Henrik Meister on a season-long loan deal from Serie B side Pisa.

The agreement between the two clubs also includes an option for the Rams to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign.

Meister, 22, has scored two goals in 28 league appearances for Pisa after joining them from French club Rennes in August 2025.

The Denmark Under-20 international started his career in the lower leagues in his homeland before moving to Norwegian top-flight side Sarpsborg 08 in 2023, where he scored eight goals in 21 games.

"It's a league with a lot of intensity and a fast league, so I think it will suit my football well," Meister told the Derby website., external

He becomes the Championship club's seventh signing of the summer transfer window and could make his debut in the league game at Portsmouth on Tuesday, 1 September (19:45 BST).
