Bowler Karvelas signs short-term Sussex deal

Sussex have re-signed seamer Ari Karvelas for the final six County Championship matches of the season.
The 32-year-old has been part of the coaching staff at Hove this season, following the expiry of his playing contract at the end of last year.
South African-born Karvelas has taken 47 first-class wickets in 16 matches for Sussex.
He was part of the side that gained promotion from County Championship Division Two in 2024.
