Turning a fight for survival in to music

Available for over a year

Ashleigh Harley began making songs as a way to say goodbye to her family, having been given six months to live. Several years on, she's blazing a trail and making a difference for other young people with chronic conditions, through music and film, to help them get diagnosed sooner. The Herefordshire musician is taking that message to the streets of London, with around 500 people expected at a march outside Downing Street, all wearing bikinis, to raise awareness. She has challenged the Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, to duet with her on guitar. Image credit: Ashleigh Harley
