How did Mohammad Sidique Khan become a suicide bomber? The oldest of the four suicide bombers who detonated explosives on 7 July 2005. His background, he was born to Pakistani parents, was not a particularly religious one. His lack of religious education was unusual and at school he refused to align himself in any racial arguments. His journey from teaching assistant to suicide bomber is an unlikely one.
