This week on Grant Stott’s Vinyl Collective, Sandi Thom, one of Scotland's most recognisable, and highly acclaimed, singer-songwriters - best known perhaps, for her 2006 hit ‘I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)’ - shares her favourite vinyl record. Grant will have a special ‘Double' on Side 2 of the show, celebrating the work of the late, great, William Orbit, whose career highlights included collaborations with Robbie Williams, All Saints, Prince, Kraftwerk, Britney Spears, U2 and Madonna. He’ll also have another cracking Into The Groove 12”, a Magnificent 7", plus, a countdown of the top 10 albums this week in 1980. All that and music from Scissor Sisters, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston, Lighthouse Family, Alison Moyet and more.. It’s two hours of new and classic cuts all played from 7", 12" and vinyl LPs. #FridayNightIsVinylNight
