why are more and more women going into property?
The number of women landlords has rocketed; thirty per cent of new members joining the Residential Landlords Association are female. This is up a quarter on the previous year.
Before the buy-to-let boom, being a landlord was viewed with a certain suspicion - think, Rising Damp's Mr Rigsby or the altogether darker Peter Rachman.
So why are more women sinking their money into bricks and mortar, what are the pitfalls and do women make better landlords?
