The British and their love affair with sausages
The British love affair with sausages is one that stretches back through the centuries to at least the Anglo-Saxons and possibly beyond. Their fans include Prince Charles, Roger Moore and Michael Caine.
This week is National Sausage Week and Fiona Beckett, author of Sausage and Mash joins Martha to talk about what makes a good banger and why they hold such a special place in our affections.
Fiona Beckett's Sausage and Mash is published by Absolute Press
