  Mentoring refugees 8 October 2004
A project to help highly skilled refugees find suitable work

Many refugees are professional and highly skilled people in their own countries, but are often unable to fulfil their true potential here because they don't know where to find the right kind of advice and help to get jobs.

A scheme called Time Together run by the charity Time Bank is  aiming to change this by matching suitable volunteer mentors with refugees. One such match is between Suzanne McCarthy, Chief Executive of the Office of Rail Regulation and Tahirou Diallo a doctor from Guinea.
