  Phone-in: After divorce 14 July 2004
Does the law do enough to keep children in contact with their parents?

On Monday 12 July 2004, Michael Howard talked to Woman's Hour after the Conservative Party's first ever Family Summit. He outlined his thoughts on how the system is failing children when it comes to contact with parents post-divorce.

Have you found yourself in this position? How have you managed to negotiate the difficult issue of contact with your children? As 90% of divorcing couples sort things out without resorting to the courts, does the law really need to be changed?

Jack O'Sullivan, director of the national lobby group Fathers Direct, Dorit Braun, chief executive of Parentline Plus and specialist in children's law, Katherine Gieve join Martha to discuss the issues and to answer listeners questions.
