Azuka Befriending Scheme 12 Mar 2004
Paulette Francique was working as a Housing Officer for Nottingham City Council when she realised that more and more of the homeless youngsters coming to her for help were from Black and Asian backgrounds.

In response she set up Azuka, a local project which aims to provide these youngsters with culturally sensitive help.

Caroline Swinburne joined Paulette as she shared a coffee with 17-year-old Ebony, whose father's family originate from Jamaica.
