Parts of Iceland and Spain will witness a rare total eclipse.

Millions of people across Europe are preparing to witness a total eclipse of the sun later on Wednesday - the first on the continent in 27 years. We speak to experts, enthusiasts and our reporters.

A 32-year-old woman, who had been trapped under rubble for 36 hours following the 7.4-magnitude quake which shook western Colombia, has been rescued alive. We have the latest from Colombia.
