I couldn't hold my dying husband's hand because of scabies
Kate Baxter couldn't hold her husband's hand after he contracted scabies in hospital.
As her husband Paul lay dying in a hospital bed, Kate Baxter wasn't able to hold his hand without gloves after he contracted the contagious skin infestation at Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen.
Hywel Dda health board said it was taking extra measures to control the spread of scabies and was focused on keeping hospitals and healthcare settings as clean as possible.
