The Soho standing up drinking saga

In recent weeks some headlines have suggested Westminster Council want to ban so called 'vertical drinking' in Soho - which the council say is '100 percent untrue.'

Now, it's accused the Mayor of London Sir Sadiq Khan of orchestrating an attack on the council in the media in a 'quest to take control over licensing.'

So why? And how has the Mayor responded?
