Calming selections to lift you skywards ft. Claire Rousay

In this episode, Scottish composer Erland Cooper takes inspiration from the vast expanse of the wide open sky. He selects soothing songs that bring the kind of wonder you might feel from cloud-spotting, or star-gazing, including from Port Sleep, Nanita Desai and Sarah Watson.

We are also transported to the musical safe haven of the Canadian field recordist and composer Claire Rousay. She shares a song that brings her a sense of peace in its circularity, and has always given her a feeling of ease and comfort.
