Giovanna Fletcher

Actress, author and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher joins Vernon Kay to choose ten songs from her life, including tracks by Frank Sinatra, The Commodores and The Kooks.

In a conversation that spans her life up to now, Giovanna begins by telling Vernon about her happy childhood trips to Italy to visit family. However as a child she was also badly bullied at school and it was a move to a new school and a passionate drama teacher who changed her life and introduced her to acting. She goes on to discuss joining Sylvia Young Theatre School, where she not only flourished creatively but also met her future husband, Tom Fletcher. Giovanna and Vernon also reminisce together about their time in the I'm A Celebrity castle in 2020 and Giovanna discusses her regular treks in aid of breast cancer charity CoppaFeel. Finally Giovanna talks about introducing her children to music and preparing for starring in the play When I Fall Asleep, which starts a six month UK tour in January 2027.
