Melvin Odoom sits in: Music Is The Answer!

Feelgood tunes to groove and soothe your soul. Join in with addictive guessing game Music Is the Answer.

Feel-good favourites, hidden gems and fresh new tunes to groove and sooth you. Melvin Odoom, in for DJ Spoony, serves up a brilliant selection of classic soul, disco, soulful house, R&B, funk, UK garage, reggae, hip-hop, doo-wop, yacht rock and more.

Melvin has another edition of the addictive guessing game Music Is the Answer. Will you be able to work out which song he will be playing later in the show based purely on the random (and often hilarious) comments people leave below the song’s official music video online? Each week a different member of the Radio 2 presenting family voices the real-life comments and tonight it's the turn of Owain Wyn Evans! Join in the fun, text 88291, WhatsApp 0-800-288-291 or e-mail melvin@bbc.co.uk. All stabs in the dark and educated guesses are welcome!

Our genial host wraps things up with a Midnight Feast track. Think big production, lush orchestration, and the best voices in the business.
