From Belfast to Broadway

Celebrated Belfast actress Laura Donnelly joins Anna, as does 84-year-old Doreen Archer who has been nominated for The Good Neighbour category in the BBC Make a Difference awards.

This week Anna is spending Sunday with Laura Donnelly, one of Northern Ireland's most celebrated actors.

She swapped Belfast for the bright lights of Broadway and on TV she's starred in everything from The Fall and Outlander to Marvel's Werewolf by Night.

She won an Olivier Award for her performance in The Ferryman, earned acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic for The Hills of California.

Yet despite a career that's taken her around the world, her Northern Irish upbringing still shapes much of the work she does.

Also on the programme, 84-year-old Doreen Archer is no stranger to the stage, but she much prefers being behind the scenes directing and choreographing the annual Ulster Hospital pantomime.

She's been nominated for a 'BBC Make A Difference' award in the 'Good Neighbour' category and joins Anna alongside her friend Sandra Patterson who nominated her.

And another chance to hear Strabane comedian Emer Maguire and her mum Anne chat about the music that has soundtracked their lives in a special Sunday Songbook takeover.
