Sara Mohr-Pietsch maps a musical path to the Wild Swans Suite by the Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin. Part of this was famously used in a TV advert for a bank, and we'll also hear the Flower Duet by Delibes, well-known from an airline ad, plus the smoky sounds of Bach's Air on the G String. There's more music inspired by swans, including Sibelius's Fifth Symphony, and some Argentinian tango, as well as other pieces based on fairy tales.
