Rave Forever: The 00's - From Garage To Grime

Deb Grant sits in for Huw diving into some of the best Black music of the 2010s, celebrating the artists, producers and scenes that shaped a decade of innovation.

Then Huw is joined by DJ Target for a deep dive into garage and grime through the 00s. Together they revisit the pirate‑radio battlegrounds, the crews who defined an era, and the Black British innovators who pushed the sound that was unmistakably East London.

Every Friday throughout August, 6 Music is taking a decade‑by‑decade journey from the 80s to the 2010s, celebrating Black British music scenes and sound system culture, featuring the absolute pioneers of UK dance music.
