How to make a pencil case
Firstly, decide how many pencils or pens you want to fit in your pencil case (we chose 8). Then, lay out your felt or material and measure the length of the long side.
Using a pencil, make a mark at equally spaced gaps along the material. For example, if your material is 30cm, make a mark at 3cm, 6cm, 9cm and so on.

Apply the same measurements about 4cm lower on the material, creating another set of marks. Continue this until your material has four evenly spaced rows.
Now, with the help of a grown up, use your scissors to make a small cut at each mark. These openings are where your pens and pencils will fit. Push your pens and pencils through the holes to secure them in place.
Next, thread your string through the button and tie a knot so that the button is secure. Using your scissors again, make a small hole on the side of your material.

Now thread your string through the hole and roll up your pencil case. Wind the string around the button to keep it closed.
Now for the fun part - it’s time to decorate your pencil case! You can use gems, studs, buttons, or other decorations to make your pencil case look cool and unique.
